Jennie M. Bonelli

Jennie M. Bonelli, 85, of Maplecrest Nursing Home, Struthers, OH, died Wednesday morning, December 5, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio. She was born May 1, 1922 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Maglione) Boni. She was married to Joseph Bonelli, who died on October 30, 1979. Mrs. Bonelli was a member of the St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, OH and a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Judy) Takach and Mrs. William (Joyce) Calabrette both of Struthers, OH, two sisters, Dora Costa and Marie Bove both of New Castle, PA, six grandchildren, Mrs. Donald (April) Jessop, Mrs. Edward (Lainie) Gerak, Mr. John Takach and wife Tracy, Billie Jo Parker, Mrs. Kyle (Jennifer) DeBrosse and Daniel Calabrette and wife Erin, thirteen great grandchildren and her beloved friend, Josephine Cabuno.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Nicholas Boni, Samuel Nocera, and Lawrence Nocera.

Visitation will be held at the Kirila Funeral Home, 258 Poland Ave., Struthers, OH on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 12:30 P.M. at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, OH. Father Martin Celuch of St. Nicholas Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Campbell, OH. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
