Lucille M. Mazzocco

Lucille M. Mazzocco, 82, of Cunningham Avenue, New Castle, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born March 3, 1930 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Albert and Julia (Viggiano) Cletta. She was married to the late Daniel A. Mazzocco who died July 27, 1982. Mrs. Mazzocco was a homemaker and a member of the Mary Martha Guild and Widows Guild of St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and bowling and was a member of the William & Roger DeCarbo Seniors Bowling League.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel A. Mazzocco of Mercer, PA, and Michael A. Mazzocco and his wife Patti of Greenville, PA, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Albert Cletta, and her sister Donna Jean Zona.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 11 AM to 12 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 5, 2012 at 12:30 P.M. at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Father William Siple will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
