Viola L. Greco

Viola L. Greco, 93, of Rhodes Estates, formerly of Division St., New Castle, died Friday morning, December 14, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born July 15, 1914 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Carmen and Savina (Frengel) Reda. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Lastoria and her second husband, Louis Greco. Mrs. Greco retired from the New Castle News in the Circulation Department after 20 years and also worked at Bill Cast Bake Shop as a clerk. She was a member of the Moose Club, Christian Mothers of St. Vitus, the Birthday Club and the Ladies of the Dukes.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Lastoria of New Castle, PA, and Michael Lastoria and his wife Sally of New Castle, PA, one brother, Joseph Reda of Anaheim, CA, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Geno ‘Spotty’ Reda, one sister, Louise Morgan and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bill Hunley of First Church of God will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
