Billie B. ‘Delbert’ Kerr, Sr., 84, of Haven Convalescent Home, New Castle, died Friday morning, August 5, 2005 at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born March 9, 1921 in Sharon, Pennsylvania the son of Clair and Nellie (Perry) Kerr, they precede him in death. Mr. Kerr worked at Morrone's Auto Body for many years as a laborer and was a Merchant Marine.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Shirley Jones of Sterling, VA, Darlene Barger of Barkleyville, PA, and Tammy Felger of New Castle, PA, 1 son, Frank Kelley of New Castle, PA, 1 daughter-in-law, Janet Kelley of New Castle, PA, 2 sisters, Alice Kerr of Ohio, and Wilda McGuines of Greenville, PA, 1 sister-in-law, Linda Kerr of Sandy Lake, PA, 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives, Doris Hughes Kerr and Velma Swogger Kerr, his son Billie B. Kerr, Jr., 3 brothers, Robert Perry, William Kerr, and Frank Kerr, and his sister Mary Kerr.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday from 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, Inc. Rev. Richard Nero of Southern Care Hospice will be officiating.
