Marion L. Collins

Marion L. Collins, 82, of Center Church Rd., Ellwood City, went to be with our Heavenly Father, Friday, October 12, 2012 at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Frank W. Collins, Sr. whom she was married to for 64 years. He survives in New Castle. She was born November 23, 1929 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Chester Samuel and Hazel Marie (Fauzey) Hogue. Mrs. Collins was a life member of the Center United Presbyterian Church and a church Elder and Treasurer. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, NASCAR and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Frank W. Collins, Jr. of New Castle, one brother, Melvin Hogue of Florida, two sisters, Donna Bachman of Franklin, PA, and Gayle Staples of New Castle, two grandchildren, Amber Devido and her husband Chris and Frank W. Collins, III, and one great grandson, Christopher Devido.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott Collins, and her brother Lawrence Hogue.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, October 15, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. James Bibza of Center United Presbyterian Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Center Church Cemetery in Slippery Rock Twp. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Center United Presbyterian Church.
