John Stuble, 77, of E. Washington St., Harrisville, Butler County, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his home in Harrisville, Pennsylvania. He was born February 1, 1935 in Linden, New Jersey the son of the late John and Mary (Krupa) Stuble. He was married to the late Bernadine J. (Lombardo) Stuble who died October 21, 1997. Mr. Stuble was a truck driver for McLean Trucking for 14 years. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was a member of Boyer’s Sportsmen’s Club in Boyers, PA.
He is survived by three sons, John B. Stuble and his wife Georgia of Harrisville, PA, Stephen W. Stuble and his wife Jodi of Wampum, PA, Benny G. Stuble of Lebanon, PA, one daughter, Johna M. Quahliero of Princeton, PA, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert ‘Red’ Guncy, one sister, Charlotte Stuble, his son-in-law, Vince Quahliero, one granddaughter and one grandson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vincent de Paul Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the cemetery.
