Frank S. Bethle

Frank S. Bethle, 73, of Stanton Avenue, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at his home in New Castle. He was born February 2, 1939 in New Castle, a son of the late Frank and Stella (Krajewski) Bethle. He married Claudia P. (Stewart) Bethle on June 29, 1959, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Bethle was a machinist for many years at Lockley Machine Co., Universal Machine & Valve and Panella Co. He loved his Lord, family and church and enjoyed fishing, gardening and gospel music. He also had pool & praise each Tuesday night for 15 years with his pool gang.

He is survived by two children, Deborah Burick and her husband Albert of New Castle, and Frank M. Bethle and his wife Tammy of New Castle, one sister, Mary Ann Smiley and her husband Chester of New Castle, one step-brother, Gary Lykins and his wife Diana of New Castle, two step-sisters, Betty Fotia of Willamsport, PA, and Patty Brown of New Castle, and five grandchildren, Albert, Andrew and Steven Burick and Emily and Alexis Bethle.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Bethle, George Bethle, Hubert Lykins, and his step-brother Danny Lykins.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Wiseman of Bethel United Brethren Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
