Nolan Donald Cobb

Nolan Donald Cobb, 81, of 129 Cobb Dr., New Castle, died Tuesday morning, January 8, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born August 16, 1926 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of the late Julius and Jewel Cobb. He married Bridget J. (Perrett) Cobb on December 14, 1969. She survives in New Castle. Mr. Cobb was a Teacher for 2 years with the New Castle Area School District. He then worked various jobs in the New Castle and Youngstown area for many years. He was an Army Veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific and Japan. Mr. Cobb was a member of the VFW Post 315 and the American Legion.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Wendy Aaron of Boardman, OH, one son, Michael Cobb of Boardman, OH, one step-daughter, Mrs. Adam (Joann) Garczewski of New Castle, PA, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2008 from 10am to 12pm.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
