Paul Cubbal, Sr., 80, of 2018 Martha St., South New Castle Boro, went to be with the Lord, Friday eveing, August 26, 2005 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born June 7, 1925 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of Procpok and Kathryn (Skuta) Cubbal, they precede him in death. He was married to the former Angeline Clara (Pallerino) Cubbal for 58 years, she survives in the Boro. Mr. Cubbal worked at the B&O Railroad for many years, then was self-employed at AAA Janitorial Service which he retired from after many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II serving with the CB's. Mr. Cubbal was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness and served as Treasurer of the church and as a Deacon. He also served as a witness for God at area Nursing Homes.

In addition to his wife he is survived by, 4 daughters, Marlene Ickes, Beverly A. Barnes, Debra D'Ambrosi, and Jacqueline Doerfler all of New Castle, PA, 2 sons, Paul J. Cubbal, Jr. and Michael P. Cubbal both of New Castle, PA, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother John Cubbal, his sister Ann Lectwart, his sister Vera Brophy and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness on Lyndall St., New Castle. Rev. Charles Harvey of Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform military service rites.
