Elizabeth L. Dellaverson

Elizabeth L. Dellaverson, 88, of W. State St., died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born May 9, 1924 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Janscar) Kennedy. She was married to the late Louis J. Dellaverson who died November 10, 1969. Mrs. Dellaverson worked at Golden Hill Nursing Home as a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring after 21 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and the Eagles Club. She enjoyed camping, sewing, and bird watching.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Kuttesch and her husband Keith, and Sue Ann Dellaverson, both of New Castle, one sister, Anna Burkovics of New Castle, two grandchildren, Louis A. Dellaverson and wife Lori and Ronald Bake-Kuttesch, and one great granddaughter, Kalia Dellaverson.

She was preceded in death by one son, Louis P. Dellaverson, and four brothers, Robert, Leo, John, and Harry Kennedy.



Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
