Joanna Holtzapple

JoAnna Holtzapple, 71, of E. Washington St., died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Beaver Valley Medical Center in Beaver. She was born February 14, 1941 in Osborne, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (DePola) Tartaglione. She was married to the late Gary M. Holtzapple, Sr. who died October 14, 1998. Mrs. Holtzapple was a payroll clerk for Reliable Luggage for 10 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, making cookies, playing games, gardening and internet surfing. She also loved her pets and grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Gary M. Holtzapple, Jr. and wife Michelle of Etters, PA, Randal M. Holtzapple and wife Dawn of Carmel, IN, and Jason M. Holtzapple of New Castle, two sisters, Carmella Tartaglione of New Castle, PA, and Jeanne Tomasello of Enola, PA, and four grandchildren, Cassandra, Christian, Sydney, and Aidan Holtzapple.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 1 PM to 3 PM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ronald Mounts of New Castle Church of God will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
