Nellie M. Rankin

Nellie M. Rankin, 80, of Twin Oaks Drive, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Ellwood City Hospital in Ellwood City. She was born September 27, 1932 in Worthville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late John and Sadie (Kiele) Myers. She was preceded in death by her long time companion, Patterson Baker who died July 30, 2007. Mrs. Rankin enjoyed bingo, camping, bowling and loved all her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by seven children, Ruth Billyk of New Castle, Wilson Rankin of Harmony, PA, Thomas Rankin of New Castle, Barry Rankin of Cleveland, OH, Crystal White of Mercer, PA, Paula Hutchins of Harmony, PA, and Carla Rankin of New Castle, two brothers, John Myers of Corsica, PA, and Harry 'Cal' Myers of Brookfield, OH, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frederick Gilbert of Independent Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
