LeRoy C. Faehnrich, Jr., 64, of Las Vegas, NV, originally from New Castle, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born April 12, 1948 in New Castle, a son of the late LeRoy and Zalia (Sams) Faehnrich. He was married to Betty (Packer) Faehnrich for 33 years, she survives in Las Vegas. Mr. Faehnrich worked numerous jobs in various casinos in Las Vegas since 1971. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany from 1969-1971.
He is survived by one daughter, Jamie Lee Faehnrich of Las Vegas, NV, one brother, Randy Faehnrich of New Castle, one sister, Robyn Faehnrich-Palmer of Santa Monica, CA and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son Lee Michael Faehnrich, and his sister Sharyn Critchlow.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 12 PM to 1 PM.
Memorial services will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Richard Nero will be officiating. Burial will be in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
