Octavius James Stone, 7, of Winslow Avenue, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born May 2, 2005 in Sharon, PA a son of Kristoffer Stone of Rochester, NY and Cynthia (Clark) Jones of New Castle. He is also survived by his father who raised him, Todd Jones of New Castle. Octavius loved superhereos, playing army and he got along with everyone. Octavius wanted to be a police officer or join the army when he grew up. He was a sensitive, sweet, and polite little boy who always stood up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves. He loved his family and was a great big brother.
He is also survived by two sisters, Madison and Cadence Jones of New Castle, one brother, Jayden James Stone of Rochester, NY, his grandparents, Pamela Kelley and Eugene Clark, Sr. of New Castle, Sheilla Stone and Jamie Armold of Rochester, NY and Michael and Laurie Stone of Rochester, NY, twelve aunts, six uncles and a number of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Dudda.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 from 2 PM to 7 PM at the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, 901 Vogan Street, New Castle, PA.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church. Pastor Luke E. Rambo of Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church will officiate. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
