Renay L. Younger

Renay L. Younger, 44, of Chestnut St., New Castle, died Sunday morning, January 27, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania.  She was born January 15, 1964 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Thomas R. and Linda (Jones) Younger. Her father survives in New Castle, her mother precedes her in death. Miss Younger was a graduated of the St. Francis School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at the Hill View Manor for 8 years. She then worked for Personal Touch Visiting Nurses and formerly worked as a Nurses Aide at the Haven Nursing Home for many years. Miss Younger was a dedicated nurse who went above and beyond the call of duty. She loved animals, especially her bird, Carl, and was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and her Godson, Kenny Clark, who adored her.  In addition to her father, she is survived by one brother, Thomas A. Younger of New Castle, PA, and her fiancé, Lorin Ferlan of New Castle, PA.Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating.  Entombment will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
