Kenneth Marshall Byers

Kenneth Marshall Byers, 84, of Stickle RD, Shenango Twp., died Wednesday evening, January 30, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born March 28, 1923 in Hillsville, Pennsylvania a son of the late Jonah and Myrtle (Donaldson) Byers.  He was married to Vivian Elizabeth (Vogan) Byers on November 4, 1945. She survives in New Castle. Mr. Byers was a Truck Driver and worked in Maintenance at NEPCO for 15 years. He was a member of the Croton United Methodist Church and an avid sports fan who enjoyed golfing and bowling. He also loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one son, Gaylord M. Byers of New Castle, PA, one daughter, Diane Biller of Charlotte Hall, MD, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, three brothers, Bud, Dale, and Cecil Byers, and one sister Lois Williams.Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 2 pm to 5 pm.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ronald Wanless of Croton United Methodist Church will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
