Margaret Piccirillo

Margaret Piccirillo, 93, of S. Lafayette St., New Castle, died Saturday evening, February 2, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania.  She was born February 26, 1914 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late John and Angela (Perrotta) Perretta. She was married to Angelo Piccirillo who died on April 6, 1994. Mrs. Piccirillo was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Church, the St. Margurite's Club and the Holy Rosary Society of St. Lucy Church and was active in the Red Cross. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. She will be sadly missed by her dog Georgia. She is survived by one sister, Lillian Guido of New Castle, PA, four grandchildren, Larry A. Perrotta and wife Candi and Michael A. Perrotta and wife Alana all of New Castle and Mrs. Sean (Luana) Mahoney and Mrs. Chris (Greta) Arnold all of Florida and seven great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Rafella Perrotta and Angela Domenick, two sisters, Mary DeMarco and Rosie Zarilla, and six brothers, Anthony Perretta, Louis Perretta, Peter Perretta, Charles ‘Billy’ Perretta, Joseph Perretta, and Michael Perretta.Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 4 pm to 8 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Kenneth Keene of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating.  A Funeral Procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
