Julia Diana

Julia Diana, 86, of Austintown, OH, formerly of Wilson Ave., New Castle, died Monday afternoon, February 18, 2008 at Austinwoods Nursing Home in Austintown, Ohio.  She was born October 17, 1921 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Rocco and Mary (Cialella) DiGennaro. She was married to Pat A. Diana, who died on October 15, 2001. Mrs. Diana worked in the Meat Department of Dave's Market for 14 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and enjoyed reading, cooking, knitting and crocheting.  She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, James DeGennaro, Domenic DiGennaro, Adolph DiGennaro, Charles DeGennaro, Albert DiGennaro, Louis DeGennaro, and Carl DiGennaro, and one sister, Kathryn Almasi Rozzi.Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Robert Zajdel of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am.
