Raymond E. Krouse, Sr.

Raymond E. Krouse, Sr., 75, of 409 Grandview Ave., New Castle, died Wednesday morning, September 21, 2005 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born July 21, 1930 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of Earl and Eva (Miller) Krouse, they precede him in death. He was married to Alvera (Fava) Krouse who died May 2, 2003. Mr. Krouse worked as a painter for Lockley Machine Co. in New Castle for 7 years. He then worked for Rockwell Spring Works as a machinist for 14 years. He loved painting and was a self-employed painter for many years and went full time in 1983 after retiring from Rockwell. Mr. Krouse also loved reading and refinishing furniture and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Deanna Julian of New Castle, PA, 1 son, Raymond E. Koruse, Jr. of Geneva, IL, 2 grandchildren, Noah and Mackenzie Krouse of Geneva, IL, and 1 sister, Eleanor Spayde of New Castle, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by 3 sisters Maxine Bretz, Frances 'Viola' Wilson, and Marie Hazen.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-8 pm and Monday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Castle Church of God on Highland Ave. Rev. Ronald Mounts of New Castle Church of God will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
