Michael A. ‘Beansie’ Barletto, Jr., 74, of Pollack Avenue, pasted peacefully Friday, February 15, 2013 at his home in New Castle. He was born December 20, 1938 in New Castle, a son of the late Michael A. and Catherine F. (Conti) Barletto, Sr. He was married to Robin L. (Shreckengost) Barletto who survives in New Castle. Mr. Barletto was an engineer for B&O Railroad and CSX retiring after 33 years. He was a member of the VFW, Cally Club, Sons of Italy, and the Eagles Club. 'Beansie' was an avid golfer and football fan. He enjoyed playing poker, cooking, dancing and music. He loved his work and mostly his family and friends.

He is survived by three children, Michael A. Barletto, III of Raleigh, NC, Catherine Harris and her husband Tony of Annapolis, MD, Michele L. Barletto and her fiancé Edward Adams of North Huntington, PA, one step-son, Louis Regna, Jr. of New Castle, two brothers, Angelo and Steve Barletto of New Castle, four sisters, Mary Rand, Helen Attisano, Dolores Audino, and Gloria Fazio all of New Castle, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Charles, Cosmo, and Anthony Barletto.



Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2 PM to 4 PM.



Blessing services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Services at the funeral home.
