Phyllis J. Pacai

Phyllis J. Pacai, 74, of Electric Street, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her home in New Castle. She was born October 6, 1938 in Confluence, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Lloyd and Frances (Reid) Hiles. She was married to the late William G. Pacai, Sr. who died in 2002. Mrs. Pacai was a member of the Church of God and a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, playing volleyball and scrabble and spending time with her family.

She is survived by five children, Shirley Pacai of New Castle, Mark Pacai and his wife Brenda of Bessemer, William Pacai, Jr. of Bessemer, Virginia Carbone and her husband Anthony of New Castle, and Melissa Carbone and her husband Albert of New Castle, one brother, Wayne Hiles of Pulaski, one sister, Barbara Altman of New Castle, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Hiles.

Visitation will be held at the Church of God, 905 Highland Avenue on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 2 PM to 3 PM.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the Church of God. Rev. Ron Mounts of Church of God will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
