Louis J. Pullia, 49, of Adams Street, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Poland, Ohio. He was born August 29, 1963 in Pittsburgh, the son of Joseph and Mary Louise (Humphrey) Pullia, his mother survives in Pittsburgh. He married Cathy (Venturella) on October 14, 2000, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Pullia was a respiratory therapist working at Allegheny General Hospital for 15 years. He currently worked at The Commons at Squirrel Hill for the last 5 years. Mr. Pullia was an avid football fan and enjoyed playing fantasy football, hunting and golfing. He will always be remembered for his smile. He will be sadly missed by his dog Brunabella.
He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Lou King of Dunwoody, GA, and Sara Klein of Upper St. Claire, PA.
He was preceded in death by his sister Jolene Pullia.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.
Blessing services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 12:30 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
