Rose M. Boyd

Rose M. Boyd, 87, of 207 N. Scott St., New Castle, died Wednesday night, October 5, 2005 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born September 17, 1918 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Sisto and Angelina (Spinelli) Maiella, they precede her in death. She was married to Robert C. Boyd who died November 12, 1979. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the St. Vitus Church and the Eagles club. She enjoyed line dancing, bowling and playing bingo. She was a former volunteer for the Red Cross.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Donn Jean Moseley of Amarillo, TX, and Rose Marie Skertic of Tuscon, AZ, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Mike, Frank and Cecil Maiella, and 2 sisters, Lena Stella and Phyllis Imperi.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday from 6-8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 10, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
