Marie L. ‘Cubby’ Saul, 78, of 2416 Wilmington RD, New Castle, died Saturday morning, October 8, 2005 at Jameson Care Center in New Castle. She was born April 28, 1927 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Robert and Rose (DeMatteo) Quimby, they precede her in death. She was married to Samuel D. Saul who died in 2003. Mrs. Saul was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles club.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Jack (Barbara) Logan and Mrs. Red (Robyn) Grimm both of New Castle, PA, 4 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Samuel D. Saul, Jr..
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8 pm.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Dr. Abel Robles will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
