Anthony Joseph Audia

Anthony Joseph Audia, 63, of Fairgreen Ave., New Castle, died Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born May 2, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a son of the late Michael and Catherine (Sansosti) Audia. Mr. Audia retired after 32 years as a Section Manager for the Environmental Protection Agency in Chicago, IL. He was a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Mr. Audia was an Air Force veteran, he worked at the Strategic Air Command as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. He is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by, two sisters, Cathy Audia of New Castle, PA and Michelle Audia of Bridgeport, CT, one brother, John Audia of San Diego, CA, two nieces, Tina Seaburn of Las Vegas, NV and Alyssa Henderson of New Castle, PA and one nephew, Joseph Henderson of New Castle, PA..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Michele Beckert.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 5pm to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 8:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. William Schafer of the New Castle Area Honor Guard will be officiating. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
