Joseph V. Sabino

Joseph V. ‘Fuzzy’ Sabino, 68, of Cunningham Ave., New Castle, died Saturday morning, March 22, 2008 at his home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born June 25, 1939 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Carmine and Marianna (Montanaro) Sabino. He was married to Pauline (Perry) Sabino who died on October 11, 2001. Mr. Sabino was a Custodian for the New Castle Area School District retiring after 20 years. He was an Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Sabino was a member of the St. Vitus Church and the Castle Wood Rod & Gun Club.

He is survived by, one daughter, Caroline McNeal and her husband Greg of Huntingdon, PA, two sons, Joseph D. Sabino and his wife Cheri and Victor Sabino and his wife Jamie both of New Castle, PA, one brother, Carmen Sabino of New Castle, PA, one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Ann) Pisano of New Castle, PA and two grandchildren, Brittany McNeal and Victor Sabino.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by, two brothers, Armand Sabino and John Sabino, and one sister, Mary Louise Sabino.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:00 am at the St. Vitus Church. Father Robert Zajdel of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
