Fredrick "Bob" Disman, 63, of Kimberly Lane died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the St. John Care Center in Mars. He was born May 23, 1949, in Glassgo, Ky., a son of the late Willie and Anna Nadine (Finley) Disman. He was married for the past 40 years to Margaret (Lyons) Disman. Mr. Disman was a furnace operator for more than 30 years at Rockwell Spring in New Castle, and then worked construction for an number of years. He was an avid hunter and fishermen who enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family. Fred served in the Army from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, Mr. Disman is survived by four children, Anna Marie (Marc) Procopio, Robert W. (Jodi) Disman, Crystal (James) Graham and Willa Disman, all of New Castle; a sister, Linda (Joe) Croach of New Castle; and seven grandchildren, all of New Castle. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Bupp. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will hold a military service for Mr. Disman.
