Frank A. Georges, 71, of East Hazelcroft Avenue, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He was born March 21, 1942 in New York City, New York a son of the late Juan and Anna (Popovich) Vasquez. He married Lonette Y. (Fagnilli) Georges on October 11, 1969, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Georges worked for US Steel and McDonald's Steel as a machinist and maintenance retiring after 40 years. He was an Air Force veteran serving in Japan during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, exercising, lifting weights and bike riding. He also loved spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by one daughter, Faith Adele Georges of New Castle, one brother, Pete Georges of Painsville, OH, one sister, Agatha Staten of Marietta, GA, and two grandsons, Frank and Isaac Dierfield.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert Georges, and one sister, Toni Sibeto.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Entombment will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
