Marie A. Mciltrot

Marie A. McIltrot, 94, of Terrace North Lane, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born March 2, 1919 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Tino) Ambrose. She was married to the late Anthony C. McIltrot who died October 12, 1991. Mrs. McIltrot was a self-employed Notary for many years, she also worked at Shenango China and Adelphia Cable TV. She was a member of St. Vitus Church, Christian Mothers' and the Ladies Guild. Mrs. McIltrot enjoyed listening to music, bowling, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and going to the casino. She also was a seamstress and made over 300 aprons for family and friends.

She is survived by three children, Rosemary A. McIltrot of New Castle, David P. McIltrot and his wife Dorena of New Castle, and Diane M. McIltrot of Myrtle Beach, SC, a Goddaughter, Paula Cantelupe of Sharon, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert A. McIltrot, and two sisters, Eleanore ‘Mitzi’ Felasco, and Lucille Cantelupe.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family.
