John H. Snyder, 66, of Smith Street, died Monday, June 3, 2013 at Heritage Valley in Beaver, Pennsylvania. He was born February 27, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late John and Margaret (Sadler) Taylor. Mr. Snyder worked for Kennedy Tubular, Rockwell Spring and Carter Lumber. He then worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Snow for many years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Dukes Club.
He is survived by one sister, Myrna Shaner and her husband William of New Castle, one niece, Sherry Shaner and two nephews, Robert and Russell Shaner.
He was preceded in death by nephew, James Shaner and a great niece Lexus Shaner.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 2 PM to 3 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in Bessell Cemetery.
