Emma Calabrese Muller, 92, of Haven Convalescent Home, formerly of Lawrence Manor, died Monday evening, April 14, 2008 at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born February 12, 1916 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Ben and Anna (Mascia) Colecchi. She was married to Frank M. Calabrese who died on September 19, 1992. She then married Frank Muller who died on March 13, 2001. Mrs. Muller worked for a number of years at the Johnson Bronze Co. and at Smith Dry Cleaners and Colia's Cleaners. She was a member of the Mary Mother of Hope Parish.

She is survived by, two daughters, Juliann Hoy of Bradenton, FL and Veronica Stitt of New Albany, OH, two sons, Frank B. Calabrese of New Castle, PA and Pete Calabrese of Blacklick, OH, one brother, Joseph Colecchi of New Castle, PA, one sister, Nellie Romeo of Hillsville, PA, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by, two brothers, Tony and Ben Colecchi, and three sisters, Victoria Delprincipe, Julie Ann Colecchi, and Sue Mitlo.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 18, 2008 at 9:00 am at St. Mary Church. Father Victor J. Molka, Jr. of Mary Mother of Hope Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
