Mae E. McDonald, 66, of South Ray Street, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born May 27, 1947 in Clintonville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Lawson and Mae (McNanny) Adams. She was married to the late John McDonald who died July 18, 2004. Mrs. McDonald worked in the kitchen at Shad Hanna's and PO Lunch, she also worked in dietary at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, drawing, and coloring with her grandkids.
She is survived by three daughters, Renee Dorsey of Pittsburgh, PA, Veronica McDonald of New Castle, and Margaret Wymer and her husband Erik of New Castle, two brothers, Claire Adams of Harrisville, PA and Joe Adams of Dayton, OH, two sisters, Louanne Adams of Knox, PA, and Carrie Conway of New Castle, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrie McDonald, two brothers, Clayton Adams and Lawson Adams, Jr. and one grandson.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. McDonald will be scheduled at a later time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
