Albert J. 'Cookie' Mangino

Albert J. ‘Cookie’ Mangino, 64, of E. Lutton St., New Castle, died Wednesday evening, April 23, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born November 11, 1943 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Albert A. and Jenny (Paglia) Mangino. He married Patricia M. (Ragnelli) Mangino on February 26, 1966, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Mangino was a member of the Church of God on Highland Ave. and was self-employed. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Marialana ‘Mia’ Burton and her husband Robert of Beaver Falls, PA, one son, Albert ‘Albee’ Mangino and his wife Eileen of New Castle, PA, one brother, Robert Mangino and his wife Julie of Las Vegas, NV and four grandchildren, Taylor Mangino, Albert ‘Jibby’ Mangino, Joshua Mangino and Robert D. Burton, Jr..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jason C. Mangino.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Church of God, Highland Ave. Pastor Ronald A. Mounts of Church of God will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
