Delores "Dee" Mrozek, 75, of Mustang St. died the evening of Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Avalon Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 4, 1937, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Antonio and Nicolina Marcone Martino. She married Jack Mrozek Sr. in 1972. He survives. Mrs. Mrozek worked at Treasure Island Department Store and Mangino's Pizza as a clerk. She enjoyed cooking, baking and bowling. Mrs. Mrozek was a member of the Jivesaf 55 Dinner Club. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, John R. Mrozek Jr. and his wife, Kristen, of Pasadena, Md.; a brother, Tony Martino Jr. of La Habra, Calif.; two sisters, Anna Franceschi and her husband, Bruno, of Buena Park, Calif., and Barbara Ann Schultheis and her husband, George, of Jeannette, Pa.; a grandson, Anthony Mrozek; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Frank Martino; and four sisters, Sandra, Phyllis and Margaret Martino and Edith Scrocco.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.
A procession will leave the funeral home at noon Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, for St. Lucy Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. The Rev. William Siple will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.
