Heaven's gained another angel. Flora M. Morgan, 92, of Eastbrook Road passed peacefully on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, Flora was born Dec. 7, 1920, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Nick and Nicolina DeSalso Rich On May 25, 1938, she married her true love, John P. Morgan Sr. He died June 30, 1993. Flora was a member of St. Vitus Church and Ladies of the Dukes. In her younger years, Flora owned her own beauty shop and proudly carried her beautician's license throughout her life. She began a brand new career 13 years ago and became affectionately known as the "Card Lady" at her family's store, Bunny's Card Shop. Flora had a knack for helping to select the perfect card. The card racks will never be as perfect as they were under her watchful eye. She lit up a room with her smile and laughter and will be greatly missed by her family at Bunny's and all of her customers who became her good friends over the years. We will miss her many stories and her smiling face behind the register. Flora enjoyed working in her yard, playing bingo and the lottery. We are hopeful that there are scratch tickets in heaven. Each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren received a hand-crocheted baby afghan lovingly made by Grandma Flora. She also enjoyed creating hand-stitched one-of-a-kind bridal pillows and purses. Most importantly, Flora will be remembered for her impeccable fashion sense and zest for life. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her two sons, John P. Morgan Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou, and Richard L. Morgan Sr. and his wife, Barbara, and a daughter, Patricia A. Francescone and her husband, William M., all of New Castle; a sister, Ida Amodie of New Castle; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Morgan also was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert Rich, Ralph Rich, Henry Rich and Louis Rich, in infancy; and a sister, Mary Freed. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. The Rev.
