Sally Colaluca

Sally Colaluca, 74, passed away at Jameson Memorial Hospital, Tuesday morning, November 1, 2005, surrounded by her loved family after a long illness. Loved by all, she was the bravest woman we knew. She was born June 6, 1931 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Salvatore and Philomena (Vitelli) D'Ambrosi, they precede her in death. She made her home at 802 Lathrop St. with her devoted husband Richard L. Colaluca, Sr., whom she adored and married on April 13, 1957, he survives. Mrs. Colaluca worked at the Shenango China as a detailer and a clerk at New Castle Bakery for many years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother & grandmother and she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by, 2 sons, Richard L. Colaluca, Jr. of New Castle and Jesse Colaluca and his fiancé, Deana Stoner of New Castle, PA, 1 daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Clark and son-in-law, Kenneth Clark, Sr. of New Castle, 3 brothers, Pete D'Ambrosi, Sr. of New Castle, PA, Samuel D'Ambrosi of Hubbard, OH, and Bernard D'Ambrosi of Cleveland, OH, 1 sister, Ora Pecarro of Ft. Mill, SC and 3 grandchildren, Richard L. ‘Boo’ Colaluca, III, Kayla Clark and Kenneth Clark, Jr. all of New Castle.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Anthony D'Ambrosi and Reggie D'Ambrosi and 2 sisters, Rosalene Frabotta and Jacqueline Conti.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-9 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 4, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am. Entombment will be in the Parkside Mausoleum.
