Marilyn J. Wirl, 62, of East Lutton Street, died Monday, August 26, 2013 at her home in New Castle. She was born August 26, 1951 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Dolores (Jaskolka) Wirl. Miss Wirl formerly worked at Lawson's Convenience Store. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, Hershey Bars, singing and the outdoors. She also loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by two children, Joseph M. Wirl, and Shawna J. Wirl, both of New Castle, two brothers, Thomas Wirl and his wife Cindy of New Castle, and William Wirl of Youngstown, OH, three sisters, Deborah McCune of New Castle, Linda Garish and her husband Tom of Transfer, PA, and Cynthia Kurtz of New Castle, her sister-in-law, Linda Wirl, her great aunt, Virginia Jaskolka, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Lawrence Wirl.
Private services will be conducted by the family. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
