Donald P. Freeman

Donald P. Freeman, Sr., 79, of Poplar Drive, Pulaski, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his daughter's house in Robinson Twp., PA. He was born May 28, 1934 in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late John and Inez (Thompson) Freeman. He married Dolores (Hardesty) Freeman in 1954, she survives in Pualski. Mr. Freeman retired from the Butler Housing Authority as a manager. He also worked for W.R.Grace Co. as a truck driver and a machinist. He was a member of the Eagles and enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and was a great outdoorsman. He also enjoyed dancing with his wife and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by five children, Donald P. Freeman , II and his wife Melony of New Castle, Rebecca Bolt and her husband Vincent of Allison Park, PA, Lucille Waryck and her husband Brian of Robinson Twp, PA, Timothy Freeman and wife Cindy of Pittsburgh, and Mary Bogolea of Pulaski, one brother, Ronald L. Freeman of New Castle, twenty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Charles, and Robert Freeman, two sisters, Freda Rowles and Patricia Ion, one grandson, and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held October 13, 2013 at 3:00 PM at his daughter's house, 1078 Silver Lane, Robinson Twp., PA 15136.

Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home.
