Belfiore A. Stoner

Belfiore A. ‘Bill’ Stoner, 78, of Reis St., New Castle, died Saturday morning, May 17, 2008 at his daughter’s residence in New Castle. He was born January 31, 1930 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Belfiore W. and Maria (Santamaurro) Stoner. He married Ruth A. (Lutz) Stoner on June 25, 1960, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Stoner was owner and operator of Stoner Cleaning Service for 30 years. He was a member of St. Vitus Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth DeSalvo and her husband Dave, of New Castle, two sons, Kenneth W. Stoner and his wife Beth of Sarasota, FL, and William R. Stoner and his wife Christina of New Castle, PA, two brothers, John Stoner of Hermitage, PA, and Victor Stoner of Edinburg, PA, one sister, Marie Marcotullio of New Castle, PA and six grandchildren, Kenneth Stoner, Jr., Michael Stoner, Erika DeSalvo, Jessika DeSalvo, Perry Stoner and Lorelei Stoner..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony, Reynold, and Fred Stoner, and one sister, Minnie Piscuneri.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 5 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
