Jennie M. Trepicone

Jennie M. Trepicone, 94, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Madison Avenue, died Friday, October 11, 2013 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born November 12, 1918 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Katherine (Mingione) Effinite. She was married to the late Joseph ‘Scrappy’ Trepicone , who died December 19,1989. Mrs. Trepicone was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.

She is survived by three sons, Bart Trepicone of Orlando, FL, Joseph Trepicone of Columbus, OH, and Mark Trepicone of Lancaster, PA, one brother, Thomas Effinite of New Castle,and one sister, Rose Petrovitch of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by one son, Sam Trepicone, two brothers, Patsy Effinite and Thomas Effinite, and five sisters, Annie Benegasi, Viola Janovick, Philomena Fontana, Mary Fontana, and Rose Marie Effinite.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities in Memory of Jennie Trepicone.
