Jennie M. Gangliero, 100, of West Madison Avenue, New Castle, entered into eternal peace, Friday, October 25, 2013 at Edison Manor Nursing Home, embraced by her loving family. Jennie was born July 29, 1913 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Frank and Philomena Forgione. Throughout her life, Jennie worked at the Shenango China Company, New Castle Dry Goods, Belnaps Isaly’s Dairy and sold Avon products for many years. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Lucy / St. Vincent de Paul Church all her life. She received great comfort in praying to her second cousin, Saint Pio of Pietrelcina.

Her husband, Andrew Gangliero, whom she married August 23, 1934, passed away September 5, 1955.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and the many wonderful visits from her family. Her smile and the touch of her hands brought everyone joy. She was the strong guidinig force of the family and will be greatly missed.

She leave to cherish her memory, her daughter, Phyllis Hall and husband Charles of Austintown, OH, her son, Andrew Gangliero and his wife Karen of Poland, OH, three grandsons, Charles Hall of Willowick, OH, John Hall of Austintown, OH, and Gary Hall and wife Leina of Leonard, MI, two great grandchildren, Jennifer Walukiewicz and her husband Daniel and John Hall and his wife Amanda, all of Austintown, OH, sister-in-laws, Margaret Forgione and Nicholas Leone, both of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bruno Forgione, and six sisters, Madeline Forgione, Teresa Bernard, Alice Lombardo, Josephine Zeppetella, Virginia Balog, and Emma Forgione.



Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4 PM to 7 PM.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 28, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vincent de Paul Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
