Harry P. ‘Babe’ Montini, 71, of 1511 Wooley Ave., New Castle, died Wednesday morning, November 16, 2005 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian
Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born July 13, 1934 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania the son of Peter and Mary (Baldasora) Montini, they precede him in death. He married Peggy Ann Sanfelice Montini on June 1, 1985, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Montini was a State Tax Collector for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for 12 years. He also owned and operated Montini Kitchens for many years in New Castle, he remodeled kitchens and made cabinets. Mr. Montini was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War Era serving stateside. He was a former member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed restoring and showing antique cars and hot rods.

In addition to his wife he is survived by, 2 daughters, Carmen Farris of Merrit, FL and Toni Lynn Montini of Coco Beach, FL, 1 son, Pete Montini of New Castle, PA, 2 step-daughters, Kathleen Knickerbocker of Port St. Lucie, FL and Robin Mae Kays of Lionsville, PA, 2 sisters, Elede Rivetti and Norma Wiegel both of Aliquippa, PA, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, his brother Stellio Montini and his sister Joann Schultz.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 21, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are asked to be made to the family. Arrangements by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
