Margaret R. Palladino

Margaret R. Palladino, 89, of S. Jefferson St., New Castle, died Tuesday morning, June 3, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born February 16, 1919 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Carl and Eugenia (Maciarello) Barlett. She married Pat L. Palladino, Sr. on November 22, 1945, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Palladino worked for Boron Cleaning Co. for 10 years, she also worked at the Margaret Henry Home. She was a 4th Ward Election Worker for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, three sons, Pat L. Palladino, Jr. and his wife Sylvia, Joe D. Palladino and his wife Carol, and Jim D. Palladino and his wife Debbi, all of New Castle, PA, one sister, Julia Cavelli of Canton, OH, four grandchildren, Kelly, Jamil, Joe, and David Palladino and two great grandson, Joey Palladino, III and Antonio James Palladino.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andy and Jim Barlett, and four sisters, Connie Gaetano, Mary Sperdute, Lucy Barlett, and Pauline Passerrello.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.

A Blessing Service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 10:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
