Rose Marie Boazzo Dellaverson, 94, of Camden, Arkansas, formerly of New Castle, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Ouachita Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Camden, Arkansas. She was born November 23, 1918 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Leonard and Mary (Impagliazzo) Boazzo. She married the late Arpen James Dellaverson on May 21, 1944, in New Castle. They had three children, Marietta, Vincent and Richard. Mrs. Dellaverson was employed at Shenango Pottery and then as a housekeeper for St. Vitus Church clergy until her retirement. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and St. Louis Church in Camden, AR. She loved to sing and was a member of both churches' choirs. She was an avid seamstress and loved to crochet. Mary was a great cook with Sunday dinner being a special occasion for her family. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Marietta Watson of Camden, AR, one son, Richard Dellaverson and his wife Alexis of New Castle, nine grandchildren, Mattie Watson and Nick Bailey of Springdale, AR, Kristy Watson and B.J. Curtis of Camden, AR, Amy Watson and James Ferguson of Camden, AR, Lisa Antonio and her husband Mark of Novi, MI, Missy Russell and her husband Marcus of New Castle, Alexander Dellaverson of New Castle, Adrienne Miller and her husband Mike of West Lake, OH, Dr. Allison Woodhouse and her husband Justin of Mayfield Heights, OH, and Alicia Measel and her husband Greg of New Castle, and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Vincent Anthony Dellaverson, one son-in-law, Anthony Watson, four brothers, James, Joseph, George, and Michael Boazzo, and two sisters, Anna DiCerbo, and Madeline ‘Mel’ Marcella.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Bill Siple of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
