Vickie ‘Marmie’ Felton, 64, of Mahoningtown, passed away peacefully at her home the afternoon of November 23, 2013, with her beloved family at her side. She courageously fought cancer, never losing her spirit or faith and with no complaints the entire time.

Vickie was born on July 16, 1949 in Connellsville, PA to Edith and the late Bill Wolfe.

She married Jack Felton, the love of her life, on June 24, 1972 and had two beautiful girls, (her beautiful buds), that she could not be more proud of and that she treasured with all her heart.

Vickie is survived by her husband Jack, daughters, Missy and Jonnie, mother Eidith Wolfe, son-in-laws, Terry Simons and Darrin Cwynar, brothers, Terry Wolfe and Stan Wolfe, her pets, Harlowe, Miles and Halo, as well as numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Hazel Wolfe, father Bill Wolfe, and brother Rick Wolfe.

Vickie was a member of Third Presbyterian Church of New Castle and a believer in the power of prayer. She was an amazing crafter and a phenomenal cook. She loved collecting chickens and antiques, going to flea markets, and playing cards and the lottery. She also loved lady locks, Felton Family Fun Nights, and watching movies. She had a home remedy for everything and her motto throughout life was to “kill them with kindeness”.

Marmie was a beloved wife, mother, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was an angel on Earth and will forever be our guardian angel now that she is with our Lord and Savior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Shenango Fire Hall.

Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
