Alvah Ray Strickenburg, III, 43, of Garfield Avenue, New Castle, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Butler County, PA. He was born May 11, 1970 in New Castle, the son of Alvah R. and Sharon L. (Gwin) Strickenburg, Jr. His parents survive in New Castle. Mr. Strickenburg worked various jobs in the area and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing video games.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Sheri L. Burdett and her husband William of New Castle, one niece, Kimberly Burdett and one nephew, Christopher Burdett.
There are no services scheduled. Burial will be in Rose Point Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
