Ruth A. Perrino Sheldone

Ruth A. Perrino Sheldone, 72, of Grove Avenue, New Castle, died Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Francis/St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She was born November 14, 1941 in Ellwood City, a daughter of the late Earl and Naomi (Cupps) Badger. Ruth was a counselor at YDC retiring after 23 years. She then worked for Cray Youth and Family for 5 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, traveling, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by six children, James Gadwell of Ellwood City, Cynthia Perrino of Carlsbad, CA, Lisa Rossey and her husband John of Chicago, IL, Kevin Gadwell of Pittsburgh, Joey Perrino of New Castle, and Steven Perrino of Chicago, IL, two brothers, David and Tim Badger, both of Englewood, FL, one sister, Sharon Pistorious of Ellwood City, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Perrino, her 2nd husband, Ron Sheldone, one son, Timothy Gadwell, one brother, Earl Badger, and one sister, Mary Kay Downing.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dr. Dan Stinson of Wurtenburg Presbyterian Church will be officiating.
