Henry L. Taylor, 56, of Main Street, Wampum, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his home in Wampum. He was born January 21, 1958 in Ellwood City, a son of the late Anthony Taylor and Jean (Bailey) Taylor, his mother survives in New Castle. Henry lived a good life. He attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City in 1976. He played football and participated in track and field while in high school, and he was an avid Steelers fan. He was employed at Traco as a production worker and held other similar positions with other employers for many years. He loved to fish, watch the NFL Network, care for his dog, Rocky and his cat, Cuddles. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends and cherished his wife, Barbara. He will be sadly missed and loved by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by two children, Tiffany Taylor of New Castle, and Henry Taylor, Jr. of Daytona, FL, four step-children, Russell Minto of West Virginia, Tammy Minto of Greenville, PA, Robin Gearhart of Greenville, PA, and Larry Minto of New Castle, one brother, Anthony Taylor of Wampum, three sisters, Linda Borders of Ellwood City, Joann Schellinberger of California, and Toni Humphries of Florida.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 5 PM to 7 PM.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Chad Steocker of First Assembly of God will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home.
