Kenneth C. Womer

Kenneth C. Womer, 61, of Highland Avenue, New Castle, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at his home in New Castle. He was born April 10, 1952 in New Castle, a son of Merle T. Womer and the late Della (Appicelli) Womer. His father survives in New Castle. Mr. Womer was the former owner of Alice's Pizza on Highland Avenue for many years. He was a member of St. Vitus Church and an avid Steelers and Beatles fan.

In addition to his father, he is also survived by his step-mother, Alice M. (Listoria) Womer, three children, Kenny M. Womer of Youngstown, OH, Melanie F. Womer of Youngstown, OH, and Tracy Glanville of Key West, FL, his former wife, Carol (Buchanan) Ligotti of Youngstown, OH, one brother, Merle ‘Butch’ Womer of Laguna Woods Village, CA, one step-brother, Bobby Ferrara of New Castle, and four step-sisters, Kiley Cozza of New Castle, Robin Singer of Connecticut, Alison McGrath of Las Vegas, NV, and Leslie Pratt of New Castle.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 1 PM to 2 PM.

Blessing services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. On-line condolences can be sent to: www.williamrogerdecarbo.com.
