Mary Ann Montgomery

Mary Ann Montgomery, 77, of West Wabash Street, New Castle, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born December 31, 1936 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Sylvester and Alice (Boozel) Zingaro. Ms. Montgomery was a machine operator and quality control at Double R Enterprises retiring after 11 years. She enjoyed bingo and loved her grandchildren and her dog Milly.

She is survived by six children, Tom A. Montgomery and his wife Celeste of Austin, TX, Randy L. Montgomery and his wife Peggy of New Castle, Andrea M. Montgomery and her companion Dale of Volant, Carol A. Innocent and her husband Michael of New Castle, Antonio Montgomery of New Castle, and Michael A. Montgomery and his companion Kim Miller of Bessemer, two brothers, Robert Zingaro of Texas and James Zingaro of Pulaski, two sisters, Rose Marie Zingaro of New Castle, and Eileen Umbleby of Somerset, PA, twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Montgomery, three brothers, Sylvester, Mariono, and Billy Zingaro, one sister, Madeline Zingaro, and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home,926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Blessing services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of Mary Mother of Hope Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
